Light Where Your Ceiling Has None

That dark spot now has bright light from above. Lamps sit low and throw shadows into the corners. A flat panel on the ceiling sends light straight down, so the shadows go. You get light over the spot where you stand, not off to one side. No cord runs across the floor.

Walk into the hallway and it is already on. Walk out and it shuts itself off, so it only runs when someone is there. That keeps your light bill down, and one charge lasts 1 to 2 months. Your hands stay full of laundry, bags or a sleepy kid, and you never reach for a switch.

There is no wiring to run, no drill to borrow and no electrician to pay. The plate goes up by hand, and the light snaps onto it by magnet. When it runs low, it comes down in your hand and charges on the counter. If you move, you take it with you, and the new place has light the first night.

    How It Works

Press it on, click it up, walk in

Step 1: Press the Plate On

Stick the thin metal plate to the ceiling. Your hands are all the tools you need.

Step 2: Click the Light Up

Magnets on the back pull it onto the plate. Pick a mode with the remote.

Step 3: Lift It Down to Charge

Take it down and charge it with the cable from the box. Click it back up when it is full.

    • Bought the house in March and the living room has zero ceiling fixture. The electrician quote was more than we wanted to spend, so we lived with 3 lamps and weird shadows for months. Put 4 of these up on a Saturday, my husband holding the ladder and mostly commenting. Our room is 14 x 16, so one was never going to do it. Four is right. I still look for a switch.

    • We host game night every other Friday. Our dining table sat under one sad lamp. Now 2 lights hang over it on steady, run by the remote. I lost the remote in the couch in 3 days (my wife says me, I say the dog). The light has buttons, so no drama. Eight of us sit there and we can all read our cards.

    • Mom is 84 and her hallway had no light, so I put up 2 on a Sunday. She watched from her recliner and said they were crooked (they weren't). Now she calls it her magic light, since it just comes on when she walks down. She has shown it to three neighbors and the mailman so far.

    • Rental bathroom, one tiny light over the sink that made me look like a ghost. My landlord said no to anything with holes. So I stuck one plate up by the mirror and clicked the light on in cool white. I can see my whole face when I shave now, not just half of it. My roommate asked who did the wiring. Nobody did.

    • Put 3 of these on the entry table so the house doesn't look pitch black when we come home at 7. They're warm, not that harsh white you get from the cheap ones at Walmart. My husband walked past them for a full week before realizing they weren't real, and he's the one who banned candles after the 2022 incident. Charging them is easier than finding the lighter ever was.

      Questions, Answered

      What is in the box?

You get the thin light, the metal plate, a USB-C cable and the remote.

How bright is it, and can it light a whole room?

It is bright enough to light a hallway, closet, bathroom or small room on its own, and you can dim it over 5 levels. For a big living room, put up 2 to 4.

How long does one charge last?

The upgraded 12000mAh battery lasts about 1 to 2 months per charge on motion mode. Left on steady, about 10 hours. It changes with how bright you set it.

      How do I charge it?

Lift the light off the plate and plug in the USB-C cable. A full charge takes about 8 hours.

How does it stay on the ceiling?

The plate sticks to the ceiling. The light clings to the plate by magnet. Wipe the spot first so the plate has a clean grip.

      Will it hurt my ceiling?

Nothing gets drilled, so there are no holes to patch when you move. The plate sticks on flat, so skip a bumpy patch of ceiling.

How does the motion sensor work?

It sees you from about 16 feet away, in a wide fan about 120 degrees across. Day mode works all day. Night mode wakes it only in the dark, so it rests while the sun is up. Steady mode stays on until you turn it off. Use that over a dining table, or when the cat keeps setting it off.

Does it come in colors, or just white?

It has 18 colors plus 3 white tones, from warm to cool. Use plain white for tasks and a soft color at night.

      What can the remote do?

Turn it on or off, dim it, pick a color or a white tone, set a 30 or 60 minute timer, and switch the sensor between day and night. If the remote goes missing, use the buttons on the light.

How big is it, and where does it go?

About 12 by 6 inches, and 0.7 inch thin. Hang it in a hallway, closet, pantry, stairwell, garage, laundry room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom or living room.

Can I give it as a gift?

Yes. Whoever gets it can hang it up the same day.

How long does it take to ship, and is there a guarantee?

Orders take 5 to 7 days to process before they ship. Every light comes with a 60-day money-back guarantee. If yours shows up damaged or stops working, write to us and we will sort it out.
